MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND

Kick off the summer season with “shoulder season” prices: $110 per night / 3 nights for $275 at the Blue Tulip! Great bargains at local shops, garage sales! Memorial Day pancake breakfast and parade.

GOING TO MONHEGAN ISLAND?

If you’re heading out to Monhegan Island for the day, a few days or even a week between June 1 and September 30, think about staying a night or two in our Tenants Harbor lodging! The Blue Tulip is just 3 miles from the ferry landing in Port Clyde and you may leave your car with us while you’re away.

Stay with us before you go or after you return for $125/per night — including free parking on our property and a ride to the dock! Call us on your return to Port Clyde…we’ll pick you up and bring you to your car.

SUMMER SAVINGS FOR SINGLES, SMALL FAMILIES!

Don’t want to stay a full week or pay high B&B rates? Need a kid-friendly place where your children can run around (and find frogs in our pond!) while you make breakfast or grill your own steaks? Our vacation rental apartment is the answer to your quest for Tenants Harbor lodging!

The Blue Tulip fills a vacation “niche” for singles, couples and young families that is difficult to find elsewhere on the St. George peninsula. That’s why our 3-nights for $395 “high season special rate” has been so popular. But we only have one apartment, and we were fully booked last summer from early July thru the end of September. We recommend that you get in touch with us early — especially if are looking for July or August dates!

LOBSTER BAKE!

Stay with us this summer and we can include a $25 per person lobster bake (complete with corn, cole slaw and homemade blueberry pie!) on our property in your reservation. Or buy and cook your own, if that’s your pleasure. Local establishments in Tenants Harbor and Port Clyde sell lobster at very reasonable rates and our rental apartment includes picnic tables, gas grill, lobster pot, claw crackers, picks and unbreakable plates for eating indoors or out.

KAYAKERS!

Stay at the Blue Tulip and save 10% on your kayaking adventure with Port Clyde Kayaks, just 3 miles away! Simply let us know when you make your reservations if you’d like to reserve a kayaking tour and we will get you our discount. Your reservation forms will be in the apartment when you arrive.

Have your own kayaks and don’t need a tour? We have plenty of storage space on our property.

Save on your stay with our 3 night/$395 special “high season” (June 1 thru September 30) rate. Good for up to 3 adults or family with 1 or 2 children, teenage or younger.

FALL FOLIAGE WEEKENDS

September and October are two of the most beautiful months on Maine’s Mid-Coast. The museums, art galleries, gift shops and local restaurants are still open, but the busy tourist season is over. If you’d like to experience “the real Maine,” as the natives do after Labor Day, pack up your sweaters, fleeces, hiking boots and warm socks and drive up the coast to see us!

Fall weekend packages at the Blue Tulip are 2 nights for $245 in September; 2 nights for $190 in October. Both packages include continental breakfast with no extra charge for a third adult or one or two kids age 12 or younger.

THANKSGIVING — “YULETIDE IN ST. GEORGE”

The holiday season on St. George kicks off Thanksgiving weekend when many shops and galleries in Tenants Harbor and Port Clyde are open for residents and visiting family members to buy art, crafts and unique, handmade gifts.

Thanksgiving weekend rates are just $110 per night and include continental breakfast one morning with no extra charge for a third adult or one or two kids age 12 or younger.

LIKE PIE?

If the post-holiday, dreary winter weather gets you down, join us in late January for the Historic Inns of Rockland’s annual “Pies on Parade” tour. Sampling dozens of homemade sweet and savory pies made by local inns and restaurants will definitely put a smile on your face and lots of new pie recipes in your pocket!

The Blue Tulip is located just 15 miles from downtown Rockland and the drive down our St. George peninsula is beautiful in any season. Our special $275 weekend package for 2 includes 2 nights in our cozy efficiency apartment, continental breakfast on Saturday, and 2 “Pies on Parade” tour tickets for the Sunday event.

SKI…SKATE…SNOWSHOE…SNOWBOARD…TOBOGGAN…TUBE!!

The Camden Snow Bowl, just 25 miles away, is Maine’s only ski resort that offers downhillers breathtaking views of Penobscot Bay and the ocean beyond. The Snow Bowl hosts the U.S. National Toboggan Championships every year in early February, bringing toboggan teams from all over the country together in Camden for a weekend of competition, cook-offs and fun. Prefer to ice skate, snowshoe or ski cross-country? There are indoor and outdoor ice rinks and many trails nearby!

Stay at the Blue Tulip for just $95 per night (3 nights for $265) for all January, February and March dates and enjoy the snow! Our apartment is heated, cozy, and just two miles from the general store so you can take out or cook your own meals.

SPRING GETAWAY!

Escape New England’s muddy spring mire with an April or May drive down the St. George peninsula. The scenery from Thomaston to Tenants Harbor and Port Clyde is beautiful, regardless of the season, and so are the views!

The Blue Tulip’s “spring getaway” prices are just $100 per night, $190 for a weekend, including continental breakfast! A great Mother’s Day give for Mom!
