We built the barn on our property to house our Blue Tulip Garden Boutique and our Lodging and Landscaping Services. The shop opened for business in July 2009. We change our merchandise regularly, depending on the season, customer requests, and consignments from local Maine artists and crafts people.
Our goal is to provide an outlet on the St. George peninsula for locally-grown plants and perennials, Maine-made art, unique garden décor and gifts handcrafted from made from natural materials.

Why Visit the Blue Tulip?
The Blue Tulip is a locally owned and operated, home-based business. Members of the Penobscot Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce and the St. George Business Alliance, we are St. George homeowners committed to giving back to our community. We offer “frequent buyer” discounts to loyal, repeat customers and donate products and services to support local community fund-raising efforts.
Since we live on our property, we are also available throughout the year — even when the shop is not open — to meet with you face-to-face, provide personal service, respond to telephone or Internet inquiries and ship requested merchandise.
